March 2026 London, UK
The UK is facing a new reality. While our conventional borders remain intact, our national stability is being tested daily in the "Grey Zone." From the sub-sea cables that carry our data to the complex supply chains that feed our industry, our vulnerabilities are being mapped and exploited by hostile actors.
On 24 March 2026, we launched The Resilience Imperative—a non-partisan campaign dedicated to ensuring the UK is not just aware of these threats, but ready to withstand them.
Why Now?
For too long, national security has been viewed through a narrow lens, relegated to the halls of Whitehall or the barracks of the Ministry of Defence. But in an era of hybrid warfare, the front line is everywhere: in our boardrooms, our logistics hubs, and our digital infrastructure.
The ultimate deterrent is an informed and resilient nation.
A Coalition of Experts
We brought together the brightest minds across the defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors to address this escalating crisis. Our founding team and advisors include leaders who have operated at the highest levels of national security and industry:
General Sir Richard Barrons KCB CBE: Former Commander Joint Forces Command, bringing unparalleled strategic insight into modern conflict.
Lady Olga Maitland: Founder of The Resilience Imperative and a long-standing advocate for robust national defense.
Jeeger Kakkad: Leading the intersection of policy and industry through Public First & Stonehaven.
Rick Cudworth: Representing the frontline of business continuity at Resilience First.
Sam Olsen: Providing deep-dive intelligence through Sibylline.
Martin Travers: Expert in protective technologies at Safehouse Pro.
Our Mission: From Conversation to Mobilization
The Resilience Imperative is not just another think tank. We are a call to action. We are here to:
Bridge the Gap: Create a seamless dialogue between the military, the private sector, and the public.
Influence Policy: Drive legislative changes that prioritize the hardening of our critical national infrastructure.
Empower Industry: Provide business leaders with the intelligence and frameworks necessary to protect their global operations and supply chains.
Join the campaign
Resilience is a collective effort. It requires private enterprise, capital, and society to align in defense of our way of life. We invite you to explore our research, engage with our experts, and help us build a Britain that is prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
The war may be undeclared, but our response must be undeniable.
